- When can I take part?
You can register at any time. In October the BPW starts with the extensive seminar programme. The submission deadlines are in November, February and April. You can attend the entire seminar programme free of charge.
- Who can take part in BPW?
We support start-ups and founders who are planning to set up a company in Berlin or Brandenburg. If the company already exists, it may not be founded before October 2021.
Exceptions are companies that have been taken over as part of a succession or companies that are dedicated to new products or product extensions. A further condition is that you have formulated your concept personally.
- Do I need to register?
Free registration is required in order to use our services. In your own profile, you can register for seminars, submit consulting requests and submit your concept online to receive feedback.
- Why should I participate in BPW? What are my advantages?
BPW is far more than a competition. We are Germany's largest regional start-up initiative. We support you in creating your business concept. You can use our numerous, free offers in the way you need it for your foundation. Choose from the seminars, workshops, forums and events the topics that are of interest for you. Make a consultation request for your individual questions. Submit your concept and receive feedback from two independent jurors. Build and extend your network and get in touch with experts and also with other founders.
- Who are the partners of BPW?
The BPW is organized by the Investitionsbank Berlin, the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg and the Unternehmensverbände Berlin-Brandenburg. Patrons are the Berlin Senator for Economics, Energy and Enterprises and the Brandenburg Minister for Economics and Energy. BPW is supported by premium partners and partners from various economic sectors, who are available to support you in a variety of ways.
- Do I have to take part in the competition?
All free offers can be used independently of participation in the competition. You can attend the seminars and events and also send us requests for advice. You decide which service you would like to use for your foundation. We recommend that you take part in the competition as the feedback from our jurors will help you to optimise your concept.
- How can I find out more about the business plan chapters?
In our seminars we focus on the chapters of a business plan and explain their contents. If you miss the seminars, there are individual webinars that deal with the topics of the business plan. You can also find a comprehensive explanation in our manual.
- Will my concept be kept confidential?
All persons who come in touch with your concept commit themselves to secrecy in a confidentiality agreement.
