You want to start a business in Berlin or Brandenburg? Then you certainly have questions. Register on our platform and get access to events and contacts to experts who will give you valuable input for every start-up phase.

How do I approach the calculation of my business model as a founder? What mindset do I use for successful negotiations? And what is Lean Analytics? In seminars, workshops and forums you will receive knowledge and tips on all relevant start-up topics. Particularly practical for participants in the competition: The content is based on the various phases of the business plan and the segments of the Business Model Canvas model.
Topics
In our seminars and workshops we discuss the chapters of the business plan in different formats and the segments of the Business Model Canvas. We also have other informative start-up topics. You can get an overview in our section Dates. We regularly update this overview and expand our offer.
Participation requirements
You need a BPW account, which you can create at any time free of charge. You can then register for our events and also cancel your registration if you are unable to attend.
Your dates will be displayed in your profile. If the places are taken because we only have limited capacities for workshops, please send us an email to bpw@ibb-business-team and we will put you on the waiting list.
Forums
Together with various network partners, the BPW organises forums that are divided into the areas of law, taxation and financing.
Let's talk about your finances
At the Finance Forum, you can get to know the investors involved in BPW and find out in detail about financing and funding opportunities in the field of business start-ups in Berlin and Brandenburg. You can expect a mix of lectures, expert talks and pitches.
Law and order
In turn, the Legal Forum offers you informative lectures on current legal topics and questions about setting up a business in Berlin and Brandenburg, as well as networking opportunities. Experienced speakers will shed light on relevant start-up topics and give tips on how to implement your business idea in a legally sound manner.
What about your taxes?
Together with the Berlin Chamber of Tax Advisors and the Berlin-Brandenburg Association of Tax Advisors, we organise an annual tax forum. The experts give talks on selected topics that future entrepreneurs in Berlin and Brandenburg will have to deal with. Between the lectures, the tax advisors present will be available to answer your questions. In addition, the experts give advice on what is important when choosing a tax advisor and in which areas they can support you in order to avoid pitfalls at an early stage.
Business succession @ BPW
A company has been built up over decades with heart and soul and then the day comes when entrepreneurs ask themselves the question of handing over the business. If there is no suitable successor within the family and the company, many companies look for an external successor.
For founders, business succession can be an alternative to starting a new business. In our academy, we would like to inform founders right from the start and give them an overview of which BPW institutions and partners can support them.
In seminars, experts address questions such as:

- How long does the succession process take?
- What documents are needed?
- How do I prepare for a bank interview?

Handouts
In our seminars and workshops, we impart start-up knowledge in a compact form and give you initial impulses to write your business plan on your own or to develop your business model canvas. Our speakers go into detail on the chapters and segments. The handouts from the seminars will be made available to you afterwards. You can find all the handouts in the media center.
