Retirement planning often feels distant and somewhat outdated—but it doesn't have to be! In this workshop, you will receive clear and honest information about why poverty in old age particularly affects women and the self-employed, how large your pension gap could be, and why the statutory pension alone will not be sufficient.
You will learn about the solutions provided by the government and we will dive into the world of private pension insurance. You will also learn why around 80% of these contracts are rather unsuitable and expensive – but why the other 20% can be really good. By the end, you will also know what happens to existing contracts from your time as an employee and how to classify disability pensions.
Finally, we'll make a mindset switch: away from “retirement someday” and toward your Freedom Day—the day when you can work, but no longer have to. You'll get concrete guidance on the steps you can take right at the beginning of your self-employment to build your personal retirement strategy.
This workshop will be held in German.
