Confidentiality agreement

This declaration serves to guarantee and protect the greatest possible relationship of trust between the signatory and the BPW as well as the participants in the competition. For this purpose, a confidential treatment of project-related data as well as of business ideas and business models related to the competition, in particular of the submitted documents, is to be achieved.

In order to ensure the confidentiality of the competition entries submitted in the context of the "Businessplan-Wettbewerb Berlin-Brandenburg 2024" (hereinafter referred to as "BPW"), I undertake,

to maintain strict confidentiality about confidential information that becomes known to me in the course of my involvement or in any other way,
to use confidential information only for the conscientious performance of my activities and under no circumstances to pass it on to third parties or use it in any other way without the prior consent of the contest participants.
to ensure that the above points are also observed by persons in my environment.
to involve employees and consultants in the fulfillment of my engagement only if they have submitted a declaration of confidentiality corresponding to this declaration.

Confidential information and documents in this sense are all personal, business, technical, financial or other information disclosed by contest participants, in particular by submitting their contest entry within the framework of the BPW - in whatever way - as well as by presenting the business idea.

Information that is already generally known or becomes generally known without violating the above points or is disclosed by third parties without violating a confidentiality obligation is not considered confidential. Furthermore, data is not considered confidential if the contest participants have agreed to its disclosure or if data has been disclosed by third parties with the consent of the contest participants.

This declaration is valid beyond the date of termination of the BPW or my activity.
