Confident in Online Conversations

As a founder, you’ll find yourself having conversations about your business idea time and again—online, with limited time, and often with people who don’t yet know you or your idea. This makes it all the more important to get to the point quickly and come across as confident.

An important part of this is preparing your content: How do you explain your business idea in just a few sentences? What information does the other person need? What questions are likely to come up, and where might further discussion be needed? If you think through these points in advance, you’ll be able to respond more clearly and confidently during the conversation.

We’ll also look at the factors that directly influence your online presence: camera, sound, lighting, and background. You don’t need expensive equipment for this—often, a few simple adjustments are all it takes. We’ll also briefly and practically cover voice, intonation, and body language.

Finally, you’ll receive specific tips on how to prepare and manage nervousness so that you can remain calm and convincing even during important conversations.
