The client is threatening to cancel the order, and I’m supposed to just send them a contract?!
This is often how it sounds for founders—and there’s a lot of uncertainty about what should be included in a contract and how best to present it to clients. Does it matter whether my clients are consumers or business owners? And does it make a difference whether a contract is concluded over the phone or in person?
So many questions—and it’s not uncommon for the solution to seem obvious: maybe it’s best to just agree on everything verbally. Maybe you know each other, maybe you trust each other, maybe it’s simply the industry you’re in, which isn’t exactly enthusiastic about paperwork. Perhaps it’s also your own hesitation or the worry that presenting something in writing might scare off potential clients.
This seminar is designed to help you understand the importance of concluding a contract and documenting it—whether for legal certainty or simply to make it clear that you’re acting as a business owner and want to be perceived as such.
This workshop will be held in German.
