Part 3: Copyright & Protection of Creative Work
Who owns your idea—and when does copyright even come into play?
In addition to patents, trademarks, and designs, copyright also protects intellectual works. Especially with creative, digital, or knowledge-based business models, the question often arises as to which content is automatically protected and where additional regulations are necessary.
In this seminar, you’ll gain a practical overview of the fundamentals of copyright and learn which works are protected—from texts and images to software, concepts, and designs. You’ll learn when copyright arises automatically, what rights are associated with it, and how you can use and exploit your own content in a legally compliant manner.
In addition, our expert will show you the role that contracts and usage rights play when multiple people are involved in creative projects or when content is used in a business context. Using practical examples, it will become clear how you can avoid typical conflicts and ensure the legally compliant handling of both third-party and your own content.
This workshop will be held in German.
