What is Design Thinking? What can I use it for and how does it work?
Design Thinking addresses complex problems with a user centered approach. This mode of thinking can help future entrepreneurs to address multiple challenges along their individual start-up journey and support them on their way.
In this workshop you will get a hands-on introduction to Design Thinking, you will be able to address first challenges right away. You can look forward to an interactive and engaging learning experience as well as taking away easy adaptable creative problem-solving techniques.
The workshop will be held in English.
Fenja Jensen holds a degree in Business Communication and a Design Thinking degree from the HPI School of Design Thinking. For more than three years she accompanies, advises and consults cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary teams in innovation processes. Her project experience with the method of design thinking is divers. She applies the human-centered approach in various challenging projects to support the collaboration of different sectors and individuals. Enabling founders, recognizing the potential and turning ideas into reality is her motivation.
Nils Karn holds a Magister Artium in Vocational Education with minors in Psychology and Business Economics as well as a Design Thinking degree from the HPI School of Design Thinking. In the last five years he trained people in Design Thinking all over the world in universities and NGOs. Nils Karn coached companies and academic institutions in applying Design Thinking for their projects to build solutions based on their needs. He is the coordinator for the Potsdam Entrepreneurship Experience Lab (PEELX) at the University of Potsdam. The energy of Design Thinking is one of his driving forces especially when empowering students and future entrepreneurs.
