Digital Workshop: Introduction to Design Thinking for future entrepreneurs

Design Thinking addresses complex problems with a user centered approach. This mode of thinking can help future entrepreneurs to address multiple challenges along their individual start-up journey and support them on their way.
In this workshop you will get a hands-on introduction to Design Thinking, you will be able to address first challenges right away and work in small teams. You can look forward to an interactive and engaging learning experience as well as taking away easy adaptable creative problem-solving techniques.
The workshop will be held in English. The number of participants is limited.

Steffen Dehn (Sustained Thinking)
Steffen Dehn works as a freelance consultant and certified agile coach (Design Thinking & Scrum) at the interface of sustainability and innovation management.
In his projects, Steffen Dehn develops approaches to how digitization can be used efficiently in the context of sustainability. With the help of formats that break down old thought patterns and allow for new, innovative ideas, he supports organizations in times in which uncertainty prevails in many areas, to take proactive action and to tackle even complex challenges through an iterative approach.
Nils Karn works as the coordinator for the Potsdam Entrepreneurship Experience Lab (PEELX) at the University of Potsdam. Inspiring researchers and students to take the startup founding journey as an alternative route/way to the 9 to 5 company jobs.
He holds a Magister Artium in Vocational Education with minors in Psychology and Business Economics as well as a Design Thinking degree from the HPI School of Design Thinking. In the last five years he trained people in Design Thinking in universities and NGOs all over the world. One of his driving forces is the energy created by Design Thinking, especially when empowering students and future entrepreneurs.
